  1. Weight Loss Diet for PCOD

  2. Polycystic ovarian syndrome is characterised by hormonal abnormalities, irregular periods, and the development of small cysts on one or both ovaries (PCOS). • Up to 7% of adult females are affected by this illness. • PCOS causes hormonal abnormalities, insulin resistance, and inflammation, which makes it difficult for women to lose weight. • In women with PCOS, even a small weight loss of 5% can improve insulin resistance, hormone levels, menstrual cycles, fertility, and general quality of life.

  3. PCOD: What Causes It? Female sex hormones and a little amount of male sex hormones are routinely produced by the ovaries (androgens). During each menstrual cycle, these aid in the correct development of eggs in the ovaries. An imbalance in these sex hormones is linked to polycystic ovarian syndrome. More androgens are produced as a result of PCOD. As a result, patients cease ovulating, develop acne, and grow excessive facial and body hair.
