Abhisheka is a God-worshipping ritual in which substances such as cow's milk, gee, curds, honey, finely ground sugar, sugarcane juice, coconut water, water, rice, and other similar items are poured on the Shiva Linga. • According to Hindu mythology, when Lord Ram was in exile and searching for MaaSita, he arrived at Rameshwaram, where he built a Shiva Lingam with his own hands before crossing the sea.

Preparations for RudraAbhishekPooja in Trimbakeshwar: • Rudrabhishek Extensive preparations must be made prior to the start of Rudrabhishek. • Lord Shiva, mataParvati, other gods and goddesses and the Navagrahas are all given asanas, or seats.
