3. ABOUTUNIVERSITY Vivekananda Global University was established recently. In fact, it was set up in the year 2012. It is a private university. Shortly, it is called VGU. The State Government of Rajasthan approved it under Act 11 of 2012. Above all, UGC has approved it under sec 2(f) of 1956. The COA, BCI, PCI, and Institute of Indian Interior Designer have also approved the courses of Vivekananda Global University. VGU offers courses at undergraduate, graduate as well as postgraduate levels. It has courses in many streams. For instance, there are streams like Agriculture and Architecture planning, Law, Pharmacy, Hotel Management, Engineering, etc.

5. HISTORY Bagria Education Trust is the force behind Vivekananda Global University. It is a non-profit organization. In fact, it was set up in 2002. Dr. K.R. Bagaria is the founding authority of this trust. The Bagria Education Trust started the Vivekananda Global University in 2012. The placement cell of VGU is very proficient. The last highest salary recorded was 53 LPA. Over time, it has garnered many awards and recognitions. Recently, in 2018, Forbes Marquee Edition recognized VGU as ‘A Great Place to study’.

7. INFRASTRUCTURE Library and Laboratories The central library is the powerhouse of an institution. In other words, it is the repository of all knowledge and information. The central library at Vivekananda Global University is huge. In fact, it has two floors. The library has many books, periodicals, journals, and reference books. In total, there are more than 12000 books. The library also houses more than 15 computers. Moreover, apart from the academic books and reference material, the library also has novels. Academic Block The building in the academic block of Vivekananda Global University has classrooms, laboratories, moot courts, seminar halls, computer labs, etc. Moreover, there is an Incubation and Innovation Center. It also has a lush green garden on its front.

8. INFRASTRUCTURE Hostel and Accommodation Hostels are an important part of the infrastructure. They serve as a second home for students. Hence, they should have all the basic amenities. There is a separate accommodation for boys as well as girls. In total, there are three hostels on the campus; two are for boys, and one is for girls. The rooms are sufficiently furnished as well s airy. For instance, there is a wardrobe, bed, chair, etc. Commuting Facility The Vivekananda Global University offers a transportation facility to students. It is safe as well as punctual. Moreover, there is a bus stop right in front of the main gate of the campus. However, one has to pay for this commute facility.

9. INFRASTRUCTURE Auditorium The auditorium serves as a venue for events. At Vivekananda Global University, the auditorium is spacious. In total, it can accommodate up to 550 people at a time. It has all the latest pieces of equipment. For instance, there are sound systems, projectors, lights, AC, etc. Moreover, there is also a green room facility available backstage. Seminar Hall In total, there are five seminar halls at Vivekananda Global University. Above all, each seminar hall is fully air-conditioned. Students as well as faculty host many lectures, guest lectures, workshops, etc., in the seminar halls. Faculty development programs are also hosted in them.

10. INFRASTRUCTURE Cafeteria, Mess, and Canteen At Vivekananda Global University, there is a Mess, Canteen and a Cafeteria. However, all of them are purely vegetarian. All provide meals that are hearty as well as wholesome. Above all, the prices are subsidized. Besides, apart from these three, there are other food joints as well. Majorly, they serve quick snacks and beverages. For instance, students are often seen relishing on momos, poha, coffee, juices, tea, etc. Sports and health Engaging in sports is a good way to get a mind-body connection. Moreover, they also help in making the focus better. Besides, they are indoor and outdoor games. For instance, there are facilities for Gym, Carrom, Snooker, Badminton, Athletics, Football, Basketball, etc.

For instance, the streams which the university offers are Agriculture, Law, Engineering, Hotel Management, Pharmacy, Architecture planning, etc. Namely, B.Com, B.A., B.Arch., LLB, BBA, B.Sc. etc. are available in many specializations as well. Masters: The University offers many Postgraduate courses. For instance, MBA is available in many specializations; HR, Marketing, Finance, Travel & Tourism, Innovation, and Ventures, etc. Besides, there are many other Postgraduate courses. Namely, M.Sc. agronomy, LLM, M.Des, M.tech, and many more are options to choose from. Ph.D.: For the Ph.D. courses, the candidate has to get his Master’s degree from a reputed University as well, as he should have a min. of 55% marks.
