  2. Introduction The UPSC Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) refers to the body of seven security forces in India under the Ministry of Home Affairs authorization. This CAPF AC exam is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). The seven security forces under CAPF are Assam Rifles (AR), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), National Security Guard (NSG), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Border Security Force (BSF). Recruitment is conducted mainly in three modes Gazetted Officers: Officers in CAPFs are recruited by UPSC which was conducted through the Central Armed Police Forces AC Examination. Subordinate Officers: Sub Inspectors are recruited by the Staff Selection Commission which was conducted through competitive examination and they are referred to as DASO’s (Directly Appointed Subordinate Officers). Constables: Constables are recruited by the Staff Selection Commission which was conducted through competitive examinations.

UPSC CAPF Eligibility Criteria • CAPF AC 2021 Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Commandant exam is based on factors like Nationality, Gender, Education qualification, Age, Physical standards, and the number of attempts. The factors of UPSC CAPF AC 2021 Eligibility Criteria are mentioned below: • Nationality • Firstly, the candidate must be either: • A citizen of India • A Subject of Bhutan • A subject of Nepal • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st Jan 1962 to permanently settle in India. • A person of Indian origin who migrated from Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African countries to permanently settle in India. • Qualification • As part of UPSC CAPF AC Eligibility Criteria, the applicant must hold a degree from any government-recognized university. The University should be incorporated by the Central or State Legislature in India. • Other educational institutions established by Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the UGC (University Grants Commission) Act, 1956 are also acceptable. • Age • The applicants should have a minimum age limit of 20 years.

UPSC CAPF Syllabus UPSC CAPF Pattern General Ability and Intelligence The objective type questions in this paper will widely cover the following areas: General Mental Ability Here we test the logical reasoning, data interpretation, quantitative aptitude & numerical ability of the candidate. General Science Here we test the scientific temper, general awareness, comprehension, and appreciation of scientific phenomena of everyday activities including new areas of importance like Information Technology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science of the candidate. Current Events of National and International Importance: Here we test the candidate’s awareness of current events of international and national importance in the broad areas of music, arts, culture, literature, sports, governance, societal and developmental issues, globalization, industry, business, and interplay among nations. The candidates can get a notification from the official website UPSC HOME. The UPSC CAPF AC selection process consist of the following: Written examination Physical standards test and medical standard tests Interview / Personality test Final selection/ Merit Written Examination: The Online exam is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) The UPSC CAPF AC exam will be conducted on 8th August 2021 and will comprise two papers. Paper-I will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. and Paper-II will be conducted from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. Paper I: General Intelligence and Ability – 250 Marks The model of the questions in this paper will be of Objective (Multiple Answers) mode in which the questions will be asked in Hindi as well as English.

  5. UPSC CAPF Admit Card The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) has released UPSC CAPF admit card 2021 on 14th July 2021. The UPSC CAPF had released admit card on the official website. The candidates can download the admit card with their registration number or roll number & date of birth at the official website – upsc.gov.in. In addition to the admit card, the candidates must carry a photo id and address proof to CAPF AC 2021 exam centers.The applicants should check all the details mentioned on the admit card and contact the Facility commission in case of any errors. UPSC an examination body conducts the CAPF AC 2021 Exam for making a merit-based selection and recommending the candidates for Group A and Group B Services of the Government of India. UPSC CAPF Result The conducting body Union Public Service Commission released 2 PDF files of UPSC CAPF AC Result, one specifies only the roll numbers of qualified candidates, and another specifies roll numbers and names as well. UPSC CAPF AC 2021 Merit List will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the Online Exam and Interview or Personality Test. The cut-off marks depend on different factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of appeared candidates, the number of vacancies, and other mischievous facts. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) releases the CAPF AC Result 15 days after the completion of the online exam on the official website in PDF format. This year, the online exam of CAPF AC 2021 will be conducted on 8th August 2021. How ToApply? • Interested candidates who clear the eligibility conditions set by the Commission can apply online for the Assistant Commandant post through the website UPSC Active Examinations. • The online application process comprises two stages. • Candidates are advised to scan their photographs and signature prior to filling up the application form. • The signature & photograph should be in the .jpg format. Most importantly, the file should not be greater than 40 KB and should not be less than 3 KB in size for the photograph, and should not be less than 1 KB for the signature. • Aspirants should avoid multiple applications. • Candidates are advised to apply online as soon as possible without waiting for the last date for submission of Online Applications. • The application form can’t be withdrawn once the applicant applies for the CAPF AC exam.
