3. ABOUTUNIVERSITY • CFAI Sikkim is the first non-public ICFAI Sikkim, which laid its foundation in 2005. The state government of Sikkim approved the ICFAI Sikkim to function as a university. The ICFAI Sikkim has its location in Gangtok, Sikkim. The University Grants Commission recognized ICFAI Sikkim. 5. HISTORY Earlier in 2005, ICFAI Sikkim came into existence under Section 4 of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University Act, 2006 (Jharkhand Act 08, 2007).
