ABOUTUNIVERSITY Sir Padampat Singhania University has been established through an Act (Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur Act, 2008) of the State Government of Rajasthan. The university is empowered to award degrees as specified by the UGC under section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956. Sir Padmapat Singhania University is renown as a world-class University in Rajasthan, India. The mission at SPSU is to upgrade the technical skillset of the students in subjects of applied sciences, engineering, and other courses. Therefore, students have a lot of areas they can get the scholarship in. This just not only serves the best interests of any nation but improves learning and success rate in the 21st century
HISTORY This university was a vision of the Late Sir Padmapat Singhania, who founded the JK Foundation, a foundation that constituted important people from the big companies and incredibly academically involved who prepared the blueprint of this university. Sir Padmapat Singhania used to believe in education & its impact. He believed that empowerment pre-supposes knowledge. It was his vision that led to the Foundation of the JK Nimbahera Foundation, which further led to the establishment of this university. This Foundation, over time, became stronger to its roots. And finally, today, this Foundation does not only have recognition among the masses. Additionally, it is working together with other 12 universities providing knowledge and learning to more than 14000 students.

INFRASTRUCTURE Library SPSU offers top-notch library facilities to its students, you name it, and they have got it. The central library at SPSU is a fully air-conditioned, well-ventilated space with a fully computerized library. Hostel SPSU has a large number of hostels available. There are three hostels for girls and six hostels for boys. Each of them having spacious and well-ventilated rooms, available in different kinds of options. The rooms are like studio apartments from which the students can select as to which option to go. Different rooms are present such as double occupancy or single, air-conditioned or non-air-conditioned, attached washroom or common washroom. All of which depend on the student's selection. There are common rooms with facilities like television, magazines, newspapers, purified RO water facility. Laundry services are quintessential for the hostel students available on the campus of SPSU. Medical Facilities SPSU has an ambulance present for any kind of emergency. A fully-equipped dispensary with a well-learned medical attendant is always present. They are present so that they can help cater to the any-time need of a student. Furthermore, the professional resides on the campus only. Moreover, the first aid needs of any students are well-taken care of at the premises. But, for ailments, the institution has linkages with big hospitals as well.
