<br>KTET stands for Kerela Teacher Eligibility Test, It is a state-level exam conducted by the Kerela government every year in offline mode. It has four categories that are Lower Primary, Upper Primary, High school classes, and specialist teachers. Candidates will not be placed outside the state.   2. Introduction • KTET is short for Kerela Teacher Eligibility Test. It is conducted by the government every year. The KTET exam is hosted for the selection of teachers in Kerala. The test is for the selection of the best teachers. It is performed every year. Hence, it is a very moderate level test. It is a state test. Almost all of the teachers take this test. It is a government-owned test. • The test happens twice a year. It is a moderate-level test. The test is hosted by following rules. These rules are from the State Council of Educational Research and Training. The Kerela Government hosts the test twice every year. The information for this year is out.   3. KTET Exam Eligibility Criteria • Any qualified student can fill the application form. The student should check if they are qualified to fill the form. If a student is not qualified for any post, then they cannot fill the application form. The qualifications for all four categories are below. • Category-I • Minimum 45% in 10th and 12th standard. Certificate of trained teacher(TTC) • Minimum 45% in 10th and 12th standard. Diploma of two years in Elementary education. • Minimum 50% marks in 10th and 12th. Degree of BEIED • Minimum 50% marks in 10 and 12th. A two-year diploma in special education. • Category-II • BSc/Bcom/BA. A two-year Diploma in elementary education/TTC • Minimum 40% in Bsc/BA/Bcom. One year in B.ed as per NCTE. • Minimum 50% in 10th and 12th. Degree in BEIED. • Minimum 50%. Four-year Bsc/Bed • Category-III • Minimum 45% marks in BSc/BA/Bcom. A B.ed degree in a selected subject. • Students applying for Physics, Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology need an MSc Ed Degree. They should have a minimum of 50% marks in MSc. • The degree should be under NCERT. • Minimum 45% marks in BA/Or any equivalent. • PASS in LTTC

KTET Exam Eligibility Criteria • Additional qualifications • Diploma/Degree of teaching in any subject. • Should have the given certificate with them. • The degree should be from a recognized university. • The Degree can be from open universities. • Category-IV • Should have all the qualifications in the language. • For more information refer to chapter XXI of the Kerela Education Act and Rules. • Students who fall in SC/ST/PWD will get a 5% relaxation in qualifying marks. • Students who fall in OBC/OEC will get a 3% relaxation in qualifying marks.

  5. KTET Exam Syllabus KTET Exam Pattern • The questions are based on SCERT Kerela. At last, the KTET syllabus is different for all four categories. • Category-I • Pedagogy and Child Development for age 6-11. • Environment studies and Maths up to class I-V by SCERT. • Some language-related questions. • Category-II • Pedagogy and Child Development for age 6-11. • Environment studies and Maths up to class V-VIII by SCERT. • Some language-related questions. • Category-III and IV • Subject-specific areas, Adolescent Psychology, and Language questions. • The exam pattern is decided and informed as per the exam. To sum up, all the information about the pattern is given before the exam. It can be a written exam. This could be both a written exam and an interview.   6. The selection board will provide the admit cards for all the exams on the main website. The Admit cards are released on the main website one week before the exam. They have all the information about the student. • Information • They will tell them about the date of the exam. Also, the examination center will be provided with the admit card. The students will use their application numbers. They will log in with their application number and download the admit card. The Admit has a lot of information. • Bring a hardcopy • The students will bring a hard copy of their to admit cards. They will also bring valid Identity proof with them.   7. KTET Exam Result • The Government of Rajasthan will soon release many exams. Due to the present condition of the world, the government didn’t release any exams last year. This year news came that, soon many new officer grade exams will release. The students who are waiting for the exam since last year can fill the form. They can start preparing for the exam.   8. How to Check the KTET Exam Result? • The students should visit the website daily. To check the result the student can follow these steps: • Visit the main website of KTET. • Click on “Teacher’s corner” at the top of the page. It is a drop-down menu. • A list will appear. The list will have links to all the results posts. • Click on the link you want to visit. • A new page will open. The students can check their results.

How ToApply? • Students can register for the exam by visiting the main webpage. • Students must remember their passwords and registration ID. • Visit the main website which is given below. • Link of the webpage. • Enter the login ID and password on the dashboard • Click on the hiring advertisement tab. • Download the information pdf of the exam you are giving. • Read the information pdf properly.
