ABOUTUNIVERSITY International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT – Naya Raipur) is also called Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee International Institute of Information Technology. Moreover, IIIT – Raipur, is a public state higher education joint venture by Chhattisgarh State Government and National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC). Established recently in 2015, the State University has recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC) as well as the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). HISTORY As a matter of fact, the history of IIIT Naya Raipur relates to the overall development of the state and the surrounding areas. Moreover, the State Government of Chhattisgarh laid the foundation of IIIT Raipur in 2015 to inculcate project-based learning. Likewise, the college was established via the International Institute of Information Technology University Act, 2013.
