Introduction • GSEB stands for the Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board. It is a state government body. It regulates the Administration and Policymaking areas of the Educational system. The important areas covered by the board are academics, Research & Development. • GSEB is also responsible for Conducting State level Exams. It conducts SSC level & HSC level exams. • The Gujarat Board was formed after the passing of ‘The Gujarat Secondary Education Act 1972’. The other functions of the board include preparing the syllabus, & Inspecting state schools. GSEB changed the state-level exam from JEE (Mains) to GUJCET. • The GCET is a UG & State level Exam conducted for candidates seeking admission in B.E, B.PHARMA & B.TECH Courses. • GUJCET consists of three subjects – Physics, Chemistry & Maths. • The Students applying for GUJCET should not be less than 17 years of age. They should have completed their 10+2 from the recognized board. • The Students Must have scored at least 45% (General Category) & 40% (Reserved Category) in the 10+2 exam. • The candidate must have a Domicile certificate of Gujarat (In case of Reservation)
GUJCET Exam Eligibility Criteria • The candidate should be an Indian citizen • The candidate must have the domicile of Gujarat. • The minimum age limit of the candidate must be 17. • Candidates in the last semester are eligible to apply. • DOMICILE ELIGIBILITY • The applicants must have a Gujarat domicile. People from outside carrying a Gujarat domicile are also eligible. • Applicants who completed their 10+2 from Gujarat Board are eligible. • Applicants who have studied from CBSE/ISC board Schools in Gujarat are eligible. • The Applicants who have completed 10+2 from schools in Dadra & Nagar haveli will be eligible if their parents belong from Gujarat. • ACADEMIC CRITERIA • Engineering Degree Course: The Applicants must have completed 10+2 with physics and maths. 45% for General Category. 40% for Reserved category. • Pharmacy Degree Programme: The Applicants Must have completed a 10+2 level with Physics & Chemistry. Minimum of 45% for General category. 40% for the Reserved Category. • Diploma Degree: The applicant must have qualified 10+2 with physics & Chemistry.
GUJCET Exam Syllabus GUJCET Exam Pattern • The GUJCET 2021 Syllabus consists of Chemistry, Physics, Maths, and Biology. The syllabus is of HSC Level conducted by GSEB Board. • PHYSICS • CHEMISTRY • MATHS • BIOLOGY • Detailed syllabus is available on Chegg website. • The Exam pattern helps candidates understand the basics of the paper. It helps in the preparation strategy. The question paper will contain two parts. Paper 1 will contain questions from physics & chemistry. Paper 2 will contain questions from maths.
GUJCET Exam Admit Card • The GUJCET 2021 Admit card is an important paper. The students won’t be permitted to take the exam without the admit card. The admit card will consist of information like the candidate’s name, registration number, exam date, exam time, signature, Email ID, etc. The candidates should keep the admit card safely until the counseling process. Candidates can download their Admit Card from the official website. • Below are the steps to download the Admit Card: • Go to the official website of GSEB, Gandhinagar. • Click on the tab ‘board website’. • Click on the link ‘GUJCET 2021 Hall Ticket’. • Type your application number & Date of Birth. • Click on the Submit option. • Download the Admit card. GUJCET Exam Result • The GUJCET Exam was held on 6th August 2021. On August 21, the GUJCET result was announced. Candidates may get their GUJCET result on the official website result.gseb.org. The link to the GUJCET result 2021 is given here. To see the results, candidates must enter their GUJCET 2021 seat number. The GUJCET 2021 result will offer information on the candidate’s marks and rank. • On September 6, the ACPC announced the GUJCET merit list. Candidates whose names are on the merit list are eligible for seat assignment through GUJCET counselling 2021. The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) will have two sessions of counselling, one for GUJCET and one for JEE Main. Entry for GUJCET counselling is open till August 22.
How to Check the GUJCET Exam Result? • GUJCET 2021 Result got released on the official website. How ToApply? • The candidate has to click on the link ‘New User Registration on the home page of the official website. • The Registration form will appear. The candidate has to fill up the form by entering all required information. • The login ID will be generated with a password after registration. • The candidate can log in with the provided mobile number, password & captcha code. • Payment of Application fee of Rs 300 shall be made through online SBI Epay. Offline payment can be made at any SBI Branch, Credit/Debit Card, or Net banking. • Candidates should then upload the scanned document images of their photo & sign. • Candidates should then submit the application after agreeing to the declaration. • The candidates should take a print of the application form for the future.
