ABOUTUNIVERSITY Dr. C.V. Raman University is a premier institution in Chhattisgarh. In fact, it was the first private University there, established under Niji Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam 2005. The university was inaugurated on 14th November 2006. It has a sprawling campus of 55 acres. Moreover, CVRU offers wide-ranging courses to its students in fields like management, arts, law, science, education, engineering, etc. UGC has given it the power to confer degrees. Additionally, AICTE, BCI, and NCTE have approved it.
HISTORY All India Society for Electronics and Computer Technology (AISECT) group is the force behind the creation of Dr. C.V. Raman University. Soon, the university came into being in 2006. In fact, since its inception, CVRU has become a research and educational hub. Its mission is to provide opportunities for education to all sections of society. Similarly, CVRU’s objective is to turn students into professionals by providing them skill-based training and education. The university provides E-learning opportunities to its students. In addition , Physical education faculty looks after the training of individuals and organizing tournaments. • The university has its radio channel called 90.4 Radio Raman.
