  3. ABOUTUNIVERSITY J.C Bose University of Science and Technology is popularly known as YMCA Faridabad. Moreover, YMCA University is an autonomous higher education institute under the state government of Haryana. To elaborate, the university is located in the administrative town of Rohtak. As a matter of fact, the Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) conferred the “Best Upcoming University” award in February 2014 under National Education Excellence Awards 2014 on YMCA Faridabad. In addition to this, Careers 360 Magazine ranked ‘AAAA’ status to JC Bose University in the year 2016, 2017, 2018. Undoubtedly, YMCA Faridabad has recognition from national-level statutory organizations including UGC, as well as NAAC (Grade A). In addition to this, NIRF ranked YMCA University of Science and Technology at the 120th position in 2020. As a matter of fact, the Ministry of Human Resource Development selected the YMCA University Faridabad under the phase-II of Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) Scheme.   5. Earlier, YMCA Faridabad had the status of a college in its foundation years of 1969. After a period of time, the state government of Haryana recognized YMCA as an authorised university in 2009. Moreover, the premier institute is a Joint Venture of the Haryana government and the National Council of YMCA of India.  In addition to this, YMCA University of Science and Technology gets active assistance from Overseas Agencies of West Germany. As a result, YMCA Faridabad produces highly practical oriented personnel in the field of engineering. Later, the governor changed the name of YMCA University to J.C. As a matter of fact, J.C Bose University of Science and Technology is situated on the National Highway No.2 known as Mathura Road. Moreover, the university has a lush green spacious campus spread over the plot area of 20 acres. Library:YMCA University of Science and Technology has a fully functional modern library with a centralized air conditioning system. Moreover, the library spans over a wide area of 7200 square meters. Further, the location of the library is such that it is accessible to each department. In addition to this, YMCA Faridabad has two reading halls with an overall seating capacity for 155 students.
