  3. ABOUTUNIVERSITY The World University of Design is a private higher education institute. In fact, it is India's first university for fashion and design. Additionally, it was established under Haryana Private Universities Act. It is also called WUD. And, it was established in 2013 and promoted by Shri Om Parkash Bansal Educational & Social Welfare Trust. Moreover, Dr. Hukum Chand Bansal established the trust in 1998. Then, it had the broad objective of providing quality education and creating individuals worthy of society. Above all, UGC approved has approved all the courses of the university. The university is located in Sonipat, Haryana. Furthermore, it offers courses in various fields. For instance, there are streams like Art, Communication, Architecture, Fashion & Designing, Humanities, Business & Management, and Media. Moreover, all the courses are available at undergraduate and postgraduate levels like BVA, B.Des, M.Des, BBA, MVA, MBA. Besides, the university offers Diploma and PG Diploma programs. Above all, the university has 2nd rank in offering professional education by India Higher Education Ranking and remarked as 'Most Upcoming University of India' by ASSOCHAM India. Highlights

  5. HISTORY The Shri Om Parkash Bansal Educational & Social Welfare Trust has established the WUD. In fact, WUD was established in 2013. Moreover, the trust was established by Dr. Hukum Chand Bansal in 1998. Also, the broad objective of providing quality education and creating individuals worthy of society.  Above all, the UGC approved the university under section 2(f).

AFFILIATECOLLEGES There are six schools under the university, namely, School of Communication, School of Management, School of Management, School of Visual Arts, etc. Furthermore, the university also has a powerful Industrial Network. Also, the university has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to provide its students a greater base for placement for its students.

  7. INFRASTRUCTURE • Foundationally, the infrastructure of an institution is its backbone. It provides support for all sorts of facilities as well as needs. The campus of KSV is spread over 50 acres. It has all the facilities. For instance, there is Computer Lab, Audio-Video room, Library, Power Supply and backup, Hostel, Green lawns, medical facilities, etc. The fully designed, widespread, as well as lavish green campus covers an area of about 12 acres and is a delight to stay and learn lessons. Furthermore, Students and workers are well provided in terms of all the facilities to ensure the quality of education and a better future for the students. Above all, the university is the only university that is completely dedicated to design and fashion. They are also available for the fashion and design stream are Apple iMac-based CAD rooms, Garment Construction, Design studio, Dyeing studio, and Art gallery.  • Other facilities provided by the University are: • Wi-Fi connectivity in classrooms as well as hostels. • College bus service not only for faculty but students as well.  • The University has well-maintained hostel rooms. Moreover, the rooms are semi-furnished. Additionally, the rooms for girls have attached bathrooms, Tuck shops • Library, as well as sports facilities, are available. • Medical facilities and TV room, Cafeteria, Auditorium.

  8. COURSES OFFERED Bachelors: Firstly, the World University of Design offers many courses at the undergraduate level in various streams. For instance, the streams that the university offers are Fashion, Communication, Architecture, Visual Arts, Management, etc. Namely, B.Arch., Built Environment, and Habitat Studies, B.Des. Product Design, B.Des. Computer Science and Design, BVA Digital Drawing & Illustration, BVA Creative Painting, B.Des Animation & Game Design, etc are available in many specializations as well. Masters: Similarly, the World University offers many postgraduate courses. For instance, M.A. is available in specializations; Besides, there are many other Postgraduate courses. Namely, M. Arch, M.Des Industrial Design, M.Des. Interior Architecture and Design, M.Des Fashion Design, B, Des Textile Design, MVA Contemporary Art Practice, MVA Art Education, M.Des Fashion Art, etc, and many more are options to choose from.  Furthermore, the university offers Diploma Programs in many streams. For instance, the diploma programs are offered in Painting, Photography, Fashion Design, Film and Acting, Professional Automotive Modeling.
