3. ABOUTUNIVERSITY As a matter of fact, another name for SUPVA is Pandit Lakshmi Chand State University of Performing & Visual Arts. 5. Undoubtedly, Haryana Government laid the foundation of the State University of Performing Arts and Visual Arts on 5th August 2014. In addition to this, SUPVA was formed after integrating 4 technical colleges, namely State Institute of Fine Arts (SIFA), State Institute of Design (SID), State Institute of Urban Planning & Architecture (SIUPA) and State Institute of Film & Television (SIFT). Besides this, the governor renamed SUPVA on  14th November 2018 after the renowned Haryanvi poet, Pandit Lakshmi Chand. To emphasize, he is popularly referred to as the ‘Kalidas of Haryana’. 6. INFRASTRUCTURE State University of Performing Arts Commerce and Visual Arts, as a matter of fact, has a beautifully lush green campus of 32 acres. Moreover, the location of SUPVA Rohtak is central to the nearby states. To clarify, SUPVA is  70 kilometers far from the national capital Delhi and 220 kilometers from the union territory of Chandigarh. Furthermore, the entire campus has been made in concrete structures. On the other hand, the finishing has been done in a combination of red sandstone and Dholpur stone.  On the whole, SUPVA Rohtak is a well-connected transportation network. On the whole, the library has vast resources of about 7500 books and over 100 print and e-journals. 

7. INFRASTRUCTURE Hostel:As a matter of fact, the hostel at the residential campus has ample play area, beautifully landscaped green parks and other utility services spread across 14 acres of land. Furthermore, there are separate hostels for males and females. Moreover, the State University of Performing and Visual Arts have a girls hostel with a capacity to accommodate 170 students. Besides this, the university has a well-furnished housing facility for both faculty and nonteaching staff. In addition to this, SUPVA has 144 residential houses for faculty and staff, guest house.  Conference Room:That is to say, SUPVA has a well-developed conference room. 8. COURSES OFFERED Bachelor’s Course: At present, the State University of Performing Arts and Visual Arts runs 14 Under Graduate Degree level programs across four faculties. In other words, SUPVA offers 4 UG courses in the Faculty of Fine Arts, 4 in the Faculty of Design, 5 in the Faculty of Film and Television. On the contrary, the Faculty of Urban Planning and Architecture offers a Bachelor of Architecture program.As a matter of fact, SUPVA Rohtak mandates an entrance examination for enrolling in the UG courses.
