3. ABOUTUNIVERSITY Situated in Sonipat, Haryana, The O.P. Jindal Global University is an esteemed private University. The Government of Haryana gave it the status of the University in 2009. In addition, University Grant Commission has also recognized it and given it legitimate power to award degrees. Moreover, the NAAC has recognized and graded the University with a grade ‘A’. O.P. Jindal University offers multiple undergraduate and post-graduate courses in Banking, Law, Liberal Arts, Architecture, etc. to illustrate few. Additionally, the teaching style at JGU is innovative. 7. INFRASTRUCTURE The Infrastructure plays a vital role in education. In other words, Classroom, labs, students housing all are part of an infrastructure. Hence, building them considering the requirement of students and changing world is very important. To sum up, it is imperative to have a world-class infrastructure if one aspires to produce highly successful professionals. Given below are some of the noteworthy features of infrastructure at JGU: Campus: The hostel at JGU is lofty, moreover it has separate blocks for boys and girls. The whole campus is maintained and cleaned by housekeeping services. Additionally, there are two ATMs installed inside the campus for faster and smoother cash withdrawal. To ensure the safety of students, there is a trained and highly professional team that are always on duty. Additionally, there is equipment like CCTV cameras to provide them aid in their work.

8. INFRASTRUCTURE Hostel:Hostel’s rooms are spacious, clean, and well-ventilated. Besides, they are adequately furnished with basic but high-quality furniture. In the university, housekeeping and catering are outsourced. Consequently, any student, staff, or faculty can avail the services. The O.P. Jindal Global University houses a huge dining hall. Moreover, all the meals are cooked and served under hygienic conditions. Further, the dining hall only serves vegetarian meals. BiswamilBistro’s outlet is also present at JGU. It serves multiple mouth-watering cuisines. For the options in beverages, the campus at JGU has coffee Café day, Juice N More, Nescafe, Fresh Fruit & Juice shop. Sports and Health: To help the student achieve a healthy lifestyle, there is a Gym at the university. Additionally, the gym is fully air-conditioned, It has all sorts of equipment like treadmills, strength stations, etc. Apart from the main gymnasium, there is another smaller one in the hostel. For the relaxation of body and mind, Yoga and Aerobic sessions are also organized in the mini gym. Round-the-clock health center service is available inside the campus. Moreover, the health center has different wards for both genders.

9. INFRASTRUCTURE Library and other facilities:The library is in the Academic block. It contains notes and assignments with other printed material. Above all, Apart from academic resources, for further development of mind and personality, the library also has a range of self-help literature. The common room is one of the sources of relaxation and entertainment for the students. In fact, it houses facilities for all indoor games and activities like a foosball table, pool table, and other indoor games. Besides, movies can be shown on the projector. Hence, it is the perfect spot for having small gatherings and parties. In such a case, the warden is needs to be notified about it beforehand. Laundry service is also available. Thus, every hosteller and staff can avail of the services. In case of delivering any urgent papers or any other material, one can use the courier service. Guesthouses are available for the esteemed guests of the University and moreover for the parents/guardian of the students

Jindal University announced 200 scholarships in addition to fellowships for the students graduating in 2020. • 23 December 2020: JGU announces seven new courses for the year 2021.
