Hence, they renamed it for the rise of the Maharaja Surajmal. So, a new name came, as Maharaja Surajmal Brij University. ABOUTUNIVERSITY Many knows this well known university. They named it as the Brij University. It came to reality in 2012 by the Bharatpur Act with the help of the state government. More About the Maharaja Surajmal Brij University MSBU was there fulfil the never ending need of the state people. So, heeding with the promise made by the honorable chief minister of the state during the budget session, they sated their petition. Accordingly, till the year 2019, MSBU overseers the activities of the colleges. Additionally, they also mainly control from the Maharani Shri Jaya College campus. Also, the ms brij university has listed three law institutes, sixteen UG and PG colleges and nineteen B.Ed. and integrated colleges. Importantly, the MSJC is one of the well known institution from its list of colleges.

HISTORY They found the MSBU Bharatpur Ordinance on 23rd August 2012. After that, it circulated in State Gazette dated a day after. Hence, the Vidhan Sabha passed the decision a couple months later. Additionally, it got the title of the Governor on 14 October 2012. Hence, honoring maharaja Surajmal, it had a new name as the MSBU in the year 2014.
