  6. HISTORY Dayananda Sagar University is a member of Dayananda Sagar group of Institutions. The institution was founded in the late '60s. The institution was established by the visionary, late Sri Dayananda Sagar. Late Sri R Dayananda Sagar was a tremendous visionary, intelligent, and educationist. Meanwhile, his determination is to transform the world. In the '60s, he set up Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Educational Trust. The motive of the trust is to educate people. The trust educated around 100,000 alumni over 60 years in multiple fields. Today the institution has five great campuses which provide education to over 17,000 students. DSI is operating under the charge of Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Trust, Bangalore, which is said to be the Silicon Valley of India. Dayananda Sagar University has transformed thousands of young minds into professionals in multiple specializations.

  8. INFRASTRUCTURE Dayananda Sagar University has a very good infrastructure with all the facilities available on the campus. Further, the campus is designed in such a way as to provide a challenging academic environment to the students. Additionally, DSI has well-equipped labs and lecture halls. And, the university also has an excellent library with a computer networking facility. Hence the institution has various sports courts available on the campus. Other amenities such as Hostel  Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) has separate hostels for men and women on the campus. Wardens will be available in each hostel to take care of the students. Transport  DSU provides transport facilities for the students residing in Bangalore. However, the bus facilities are available only to specific routes. But the university does not assure to provide the facility. Library Dayananda Sagar University has a world-class library on the campus.
