The Chardham yatra used to be a dream for the people who were unable to walk, but now they are able to do the yatra by flying on helicopter. Some people also don’t have much time due to their busy schedule but they want to do darshan of dhams. So, they prefer to go on the helicopter, because it reduces the time as compared to doing yatra on foot. If you want to do chardham yatra by helicopter then you will first need to register yourself on the website provided by government. Government has also started a helpline number for the same purpose. You can register yourself here and book your slots on the site. The registrations for the helicopter booking have started. This yatra can be done for 6 months only. Four Dhamsinclude:-Yamunotri, Gangotri, kedarnath and Badrinath. Opening date of yamunotridham gates will be 3 may and they will close on 26th October. Opening of Gangotri gates is also 3 may and they will close on 25th of October. Opening of kedarnath temple gates is 6th may and they will close on 26th of October. Badrinath temple gates will open on 8th may and will close on 20th November. These are predicted dates, but each year predicted dates become the final dates.

  2. It is being expected that Chardham yatra 2022 will experience great crowd of devotees due to the removal of covid-19 restrictions. Government is trying their best possible ways to make the yatra more successful and comfortable by maintaining the roads and checking that each and every devotee gets all the facilities. Helicopter services will also be provided with all the precautions needed.
