  1. 3 Free Attractions in New York City

  2. New York City is one of the most exciting cities in the world. It boasts a wealth of free attractions and outdoor experiences; there's something for everyone in NYC! The city has it all, from the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building to Central Park and the Brooklyn Bridge. We’ve narrowed these interesting places down to three free attractions that are a must-visit.

  3. Central Park When New York City is mentioned, one of the first things that come to mind is the famous Central Park. In the centre of Manhattan, Central Park is arguably the most famous park in the world, with around 25 million visits each year. It is enjoyable to visit at any time of year. You won't be disappointed with what Central Park has to offer, whether it's spring cherry blossom blooms, fall foliage, or blanketed in a layer of snow!

  4. Times Square The first important thing you should know is that Times Square is not really a square. But one thing is certain: you cannot visit New York without visiting Times Square! It's a fascinating neighbourhood to visit, to say the least, with gigantic billboards, the M&M store, and people performing street acts. In addition, it is one of the top free things to do in NYC at night! While most native New Yorkers avoid Times Square, it's fun to experience the city's never-ending energy.

  5. Statue of Liberty • The closest you can get to the Statue of Liberty without paying a penny is by taking the free Staten Island Ferry! You can stand at the front and back of the ferry while it is moving to get a great view of the Statue of Liberty and the beautiful NYC skyline. The ferry is mostly for commuters, but that does not prevent anyone else from using it. The ferry has been running since 1905 and its route spans New York Harbour.

  6. There are still plenty of exciting places to visit in New York, but the ones we listed are the most interesting ones! The USA, in general, has many nice places to visit on a budget. But for now, while in NYC, don’t forget to check out all the iconic libraries there as well! You can also check Casita’s website for the best and most affordable student accommodation in New York that will surely make your stay even more pleasant.
