  2. About Us Nestled in the Angeles National Forest, Canyon Creek Retreat Center is a self-contained recreation and retreat center located within an hour’s drive from West Los Angeles. You will be amazed at the feeling of comfort, beauty, and warmth provided by our majestic scenery. Our 81-acre property features athletic facilities and state-of-the-art equipment ideal for weddings, family gatherings, conferences, retreats, Bat and Bar Mitzvahs, and much more!

  3. Connection to Canyon Creek Summer Camp The Canyon Creek Retreat Center is a division of The Canyon Creek Summer Camp. Canyon Creek Summer Camp provides a safe, non-competitive environment where boys and girls build confidence and independence, learn teamwork and develop problem-solving skills.   4. Hospitality Our friendly staff works with you before you arrive to ensure your needs are met. We happily provide program assistance for hikes, campfires, sports and activities, team building, and much more! Our professional chef will work with your group to craft a menu to meet your group’s individual needs using only the best ingredients! From high-end wedding and banquets to traditional camp meals, Canyon Creek will accommodate your every request!

  5. Meeting Facilities Our 14,000 square-foot lodge has room for activities, meetings, a 272-seat dining hall, and a full-service kitchen. We also have conference rooms for intimate and large groups, some even with fireplaces, wireless internet, sound system, and gorgeous views of the mountains, creek, and golf course. No retreat is complete without visiting our 300 seat outdoor amphitheater with breathtaking views of the mountains and creek.

Team Building Groups can choose to participate in our special team building activities and will be led through various exercises that establish the necessary support and cohesiveness that allow group members to thrive while working together. The Canyon Creek Challenge Course is specifically designed to build self-confidence, trust, teamwork, and group unity. Join us on our course with over 25 different high and low rope elements including a zip-line, 28-foot high, three sided climbing ball, and adventure courses!

  10. Partnering With Camp Ubuntu The Canyon Creek Retreat Center partners with the Harold Robinson Foundation to provide Los Angeles’s less fortunate children the opportunity to attend camp! Through Camp Ubuntu, children learn that we must rely on and support each other in order to insure success as an individual, as a family, and as a community.

Partnering with The Harold Robinson Foundation The Harold Robinson Foundation was established based on the principle that each and every child deserves opportunities, no matter where they stand on the socioeconomic ladder. The mission has grown from the simple hope of allowing youths to experience camp for a weekend to investing in their futures, their families, their schools, and their communities. The Foundation creates a sense of purpose and accomplishment in each individual, while supporting schools and families.
