  1. Common mistakes to avoid when you are going for window cleaning.

  2. Pollution and grime build up on your windows, both inside and out, over time, limiting your views and preventing valuable sunshine. The only thing that could be worse? Improper cleaning has left thick streaks behind. Follow this expert cleaning advice from Canadian property stars, your windows will never look better than they will with the correct window-cleaning products and techniques.

  3. Cleaning your windows on a sunny day. If you undertake this work in the hot sun, the cleaner will dry on the hot windows before you get a chance to wipe it off, producing difficult-to-remove streaks, start on the shaded side of the house if the weather isn't cooperating.

  4. Spraying cleaner on top of dirt and dust is a mistake. Sweep debris from the window frame with a brush before starting, or suction it up with a handheld vacuum or your machine's dust attachment. When dirt is mixed with a cleaner, it will not turn into a muddy mess. If your window screen is very filthy, remove it and scrub it with hot, sudsy water and a gentle brush, then rinse and dry before replacing it.

  5. Using less window cleaner. Don't be stingy with the spray, especially if your windows are really filthy. To completely wipe away the filth, you'll need a lot of liquid cleansers to dissolve and suspend it.

  6. Cleaning all of your windows in one day is a mistake. Cleaning your windows only needs to be done once or twice a year, but it's even easier if you divide the chore and tackle it room by room. Wipe one side of the window horizontally and the other vertically while cleaning. If streaks do appear, you'll be able to tell if they're on the outside or inside.

  7. One of the most common windows cleaning blunders is failing to hire a professional window cleaning expert. Assume you'd rather spend your time running your own company or caring for your friends and family. In that situation, hiring a professional might be a better option than wasting time and money trying to figure out if you've made any common window cleaning blunders.

  8. Forgetting That Windows Aren't All Glass Inexperienced window cleaners frequently make the mistake of paying more attention to the glass than the frames. Suddenly, you're left with a shining window and dusty frames covered with fingerprints. Remember to clean the frames, handles, and glass as well. Open the windows if possible, and clean the cracks inside the window frame as well. However, do not attempt this if it is pouring!
