  1. How to Bond With Your Dog? Relationships can go haywire and that’s very much understandable. Even a relationship with your furry pal can go south and perhaps requires reacquainting and remembrance as to why you two fell in love with each other in the first place. On the other hand, if you’re trying to bond with your dog for the first time, let me tell you, it is extremely challenging. But hey, you need not worry because the good news is; it is possible and not improbable. Dog Bonding Tips How to bond with your dog is essential as well as necessary, and it is important that you, the pet parent, take the initiative to try and strive towards achieving that. Below are a few ways in which you can strengthen your bond with your dog. So read through them all and start implementing them. THE DO’s Devote More Time For Him –No matter how hectic your schedule is, take out some time for your four-legged friend. Devoting your time for him is perhaps the least your dog would ask from you. So, each day, for at least 30-odd minutes, spend some alone time with your buddy. You could also give him a cuddle or two. We’re sure he’d never mind such a gesture. Add More Love In His Meals –We all perhaps know that the way to a dog’s heart is undoubtedly his stomach. Just as much as your pal loves you, he equally loves his food too. Therefore, to enhance your relationship with your Fido, the best way out is to prepare delicious meals for him. All your love added in his meal will surely bridge the gap and strengthen the bonding. Set Clear Ground Rules –Probably you might not know this, but dogs tend to like rules. And a house that follows certain ground rules helps in clarity and understanding between your canine and you. So, don’t allow your pal to climb up on your bed one day and scold him from doing so on the other. Hence, decide beforehand and stick to it. Play Together, Stay Together –There’s a saying that’s rumored to be true. The family that plays together stays together. Dogs are our family and are an integral part of our lives. So the next time it is your buddy’s play time, make sure to involve yourself too. He will definitely love your involvement and doing so will certainly boost your relationship with him. THE DON’T’s

  2. Never Force To Do Something He Loathes –Relationships turn sour when there is a conflict of interest. Similarly, when your canine is disinterested about something, don’t force him to do it. When you notice your pal showing little or no interest at all in something you want him to do, just drop the idea and move on. Don’t Disturb Him When He Sleeps–Never awake a sleeping dog, especially when it is not urgent at all. Just like we humans simply loathe being woken up in the morning, similarly, dogs too, hate such a thing. Doing so can lead to conflicts and perhaps aggression on his part. Thus, let sleeping dogs be as they are. Look For Behavioral Alternatives, Not Punishments –The most common mistake pet parents make is to scold their dog when they do something they shouldn’t have done. Perhaps, those are instincts that come naturally and which are hard to control. But if you want to increase your relationship with your furry pal, punishing him for his wrongdoings isn’t the way to go. Instead, look for behavioral alternatives. For instance, if your pal happens to pee in places he shouldn’t have, don’t scream at him but instead, take him to the place where he should pee and instruct him to go there the next time. There’s a long list of things which one should and shouldn’t do to boost their relationship with their canine, but following the above seven will help you enough. So what is holding you back?
