  1. 10 Things to Do This Pet Appreciation Week Pet Appreciation Week is a very special event this is observed by millions of pet parents all over the globe. This week-long special event always falls on the first full week in June, and this year Pet Appreciation Week is from the 6th of June till the 12th of June. The main motto behind this is to help pet parents show their appreciation towards their pets. They deserve all the credits for always being there for you, no matter what. Hence, it is a no-brainer that we have a special week just for them. There are so many things one can do to appreciate their pet and in this blog, we will be talking about 10 things you can do (for your pet) this Pet Appreciation Week. Pet Appreciation Week: 10 Things to Do There are so many things you can do to appreciate your pet this Pet Appreciation Week. We’ve jotted a few of them (10 in total) below.

  2. #1. Favorite Treats All Week We do know that feeding your buddy a lot of treats can be harmful to their health, which is why you should feed them little treats all week. The whole week, give your buddy his favorite treats and let him enjoy his heart content.

  3. #2. Get Your Bud A New Toy Toys are something that our pets really love. So this Pet Appreciation Week, consider gifting your buddy a new toy. Anyway, it was high time you changed their toy since it was getting old and worn out. #3. Longer Evening Walks Evening walks with our four-legged friends are always nice and fun. So why not have even longer evening walks, especially because it's Pet Appreciation Week. We know your pet simply loves walking with you. So, if you can, increase the evening walk timings by a wee bit for just one week. You can buy a good collar like Seresto as well, which will help your pet to stay happy and undisturbed while you walk him down the lane. Seresto for Dogs Seresto for Cats #4. Give a Home Made treats He Loves Readymade pet treats are available in the market, but if you want to do something special for your buddy, you can bake some delicious treats instead of buying them from online pet stores. We know it might not come out as soon as the readymade ones, or perhaps, it may. But whatever it is, your buddy will surely appreciate you for the efforts you put in.

  4. #5. Pet Paw-ty Pet Appreciation Week calls for some celebrations and nothing better than having a pet paw-ty at home. With COVID-19 around, it is much safer to stay indoors and have your own party with the ones you love. So call in your family members and your pets and have the best ever pet paw-ty ever. #6. Teach Your Pet A New Trick If you have a dog, then try teaching your four-legged buddy a new trick. It is never too late to teach a dog a new trick. Moreover, a week is enough time for your buddy to grasp onto the new trick you taught him. And once your buddy has aced the trick, allow him to perform the same in front of your family members or friends. #7. Microchip or ID Tag Have you ever considered microchipping or ID tagging your furry buddy? If yes, then Pet Appreciation Week is probably the best time to make that come true. Many pet parents tend to lose their dog or cat while taking them for a walk, or in some cases, they forget to bolt the front door, and their pet takes off. Microchipping or ID tagging will help to locate your lost pet as soon as possible. And it is very likely that your pet will be found. So yeah, microchipping or ID tagging is very much recommended. #8. Spend More Time Trust us, if your pet could speak, they would tell you to spend 24x7 of your time with them. We know it's not possible to do that, but you can always try and make time for your pet. This Pet Appreciation Week, make sure you take out more time and spend it with your canine or feline. It will surely mean the world to them. #9. No Table Scraps Pledge Knowingly or unknowingly, our pets tend to consume table scraps. Such things are very harmful to their bodies and must be avoided at all costs. For Pet Appreciation Week, you can take a pledge to not feed your buddy table scraps and be alert at all times so that they do not quietly go and wallop all the scraps that lay around. It is imperative that we stay alert and careful because it is our responsibility to keep our pets safe. #10. Grooming Time Cleanliness is close to godliness. Thus, grooming your pet is very important. Hence, this Pet Appreciation Week, you can consider grooming your beloved buddy. Give him a nice and lovely warm shampoo bath, clip his nails, clean their ears, etc. And yes,

  5. make sure you hold these grooming sessions every now and then. This will help keep your buddy clean and healthy.
