  4. DRIVER DOWNLOAD Visit the official page of HP. From the Products list, select your printer model correctly. Click the Software, Drivers and Firmware tab followed by the Go button on the Support page of your printer. Now, the Software and Driver Download page of your printer will open. Check to ensure that your OS type and its version are selected correctly. Locate the recommended printer driver for your OS type and click on it. Click the Download button beside the recommended printer driver. Now, the selected printer driver will start to download on your computer.

WIRELESS USING WPS-PUSH If the router you’re using for the Wi-Fi setup has the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button, use this method to install and use the printer on your computer over a wireless network. Initially, enable the WPS Push Button method on your printer. To do so: Locate the Wi-Fi and Power buttons on your printer’s control panel. Now, press and hold both these buttons at the same time. Release the buttons approximately after 3 seconds. Check to ensure that the outside edges of your printer are pulsing in purple. Now, turn on your wireless router if it is turned off. Locate the Wi-Fi Protected Setup button on your router and press it. Once your printer is connected to the wireless network, the outside edge glows purple. Now, connect your Windows or Mac computer to the same wireless network to which the printer is connected. Run the HP Smart app or the HP printer software to complete the rest of the wireless setup.
