  1. Radio Imaging Technology- Scopes, Courses, & Careers The need for educated and professional radiologists in hospitals, clinics, and health centres  is steadily increasing. The radiographic field will continue to show higher employment growth in the future. After completing the required degree in this field, one can apply as a radiologist (MD), radiologist / radiographer, radiologist, ultrasound technician, MRI technician, CAT Scan Technologist/ CT Tech/ CT Scan Technologist. “Radiology is one of the exciting and interesting medical courses that makes the use of imaging to distinguish and treat diseases available in the body.” Radio imaging is mainly used to produce radiographs of patients using X- rays to find out the patient’s exact medical condition. The persons, who conduct this work are called radiographers or radio technologists. In addition to X- rays, a radiographer also considers the production of CT scans, ultrasounds and MRI. The field of radiology has two broad areas- diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology. Diagnostic radiology is the area of medicine specialization that uses X-Ray images and other imaging techniques to diagnose a patient’s illness and injury.  Interventional radiology is another medical specialty that uses techniques for directional imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound).

  2. Radiology Courses & Duration In the field of radiology, one gets numerous options to pursue different courses such as diploma, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and certification courses. One can apply for different under graduate courses after completing 12th standard. Below are the lists of available radiology courses- 1.
