The same versatility allows its use in shipping warehouses where personnel can carry such printers and affix labels on cartons, with or without barcode printing. • Delivery notices and citations: Since notices and citations such as those issued by gas inspectors or automobile inspectors need to be near-permanent, thermal paper used here may have a synthetic base or a superior coating that will give permanent non-fading prints.
