  1. Why Screws are Better than Nails for Vinyl Installation? Whether vinyl siding, metal or wood siding, the products that help in attaching themselves to the home are usually called as a fastener. There are nails and screws, which are different types of fasteners. But the question is, which type of the fastener is the best for vinyl installation. Though, there are several articles which give a biased decision for both the fastener but here, I have something new for you. In this article, you will get to know about the properties of the material so that you can choose one fastener for the vinyl installation. Let us ponder on it. Vinyl can easily crack or split and the chances of cracking and splitting are high in the colder temperatures. So, the powerful nail gun can easily destroy the vinyl. Though, the installer needs to be careful but still, damage can happen. The accuracy, precision and speed of non-standard fastener screws and power screwdriver are far superior in comparison to the nails. The screw can easily penetrate and in a better way as compared to the nails. If the mistake happens in the depth, it can be corrected by giving one or two turns but in case of the nail, it is really difficult to correct the damage in depth. Just like CNC machining of stainless steel nuts, the screws are made in such a way that the height of the screw head can easily be controlled whereas nail depth can never be controlled. In the nutshell, it is always best to use the screws at the place of nails. Bo Ying Address: Guan Jing tou village,DongGong city,Guangdong province,China.
