EPSON ET M3170 PRINTER SETUP UNPACKING: ● Unbox the Epson Et M3170 setup printer and keep the manuals, installation CD, power cord, and ink bottle safe aside. ● Mount the printer cover and take out the protective materials inside the printer. ● Make sure not to touch the ink tubes and the white cable. ● Slowly put the printer coverdown. FILLING INK TANK: ● Unpack the ink tank package and then twist the bottle cap to remove it. ● Open the ink tank cover on the right side of the printer. ● Do not try to shake or tweak the bottle. ● Insert the ink bottle into the ink tank. ● Let the ink fill the tank slowly. ● When the ink bottle is finished, take the bottle out and close it with a cap. ● Close the lid of the ink tank. SWITCHING ON: ● Link the printer and the electrical wall socket using a power cord. ● Press the power button on the printer and set the language, date, and region options.

  2. ● A start message will appear on the Epson Et M3170 setup printer display, tap on OK to proceed. LOADING PAPER: ● After ink charging is completed, extend the paper cassette till it stops at a point. ● Move the paper guides towards out. ● Keep the printable face of the papers down on the cassette. ● Fix the paper sheets by bringing the guides to the edges of the papers. ● Now, insert the paper cassette into the printer as well as close the cover. ● Make the paper settings on the printer control panel. CONNECTING TO FAX: ● Connect the phone cord from the telephone line to the ‘Line’ port on the printer. ● See the printer display to make the fax settings. WEBSITE: ● Go to the official website of the Epson Et M3170 setup printer, mention your printer model number, and click on the Drivers menu. ● Select the OS type and version from the Downloads menu to download the Epson Et M3170 driver for your computer. EPSON ET M3170 WIRELESS SETUP USING CONTROL PANEL: ● Keep the Wi-Fi network connection switched on. ● Succeeding the Epson Et M3170 driver installation, press the Home button on the printer control panel. ● Tap on the Wi-Fi icon and then select the Wi-Fi recommended connection method. ● Choose ‘Start Setup’ or ‘Change Settings’ option. ● Now, pick the Epson Et M3170 Wireless Setup Wizard. A list of the networksappears on the screen.
