Primary Responsibilities 1. Supervision & Security Maintenance ● Oversee inmate behavior and routine activities to preserve safety and order. ● Enforce institutional rules, conduct cell checks, pat-downs, and intervene during disturbances or emergencies. 2. Facility Inspections & Safety Checks ● Perform regular security reviews of facility infrastructure—locks, doors, surveillance systems—to ensure compliance and integrity. 3. Inmate Processing & Movement ● Manage inmate intake, documentation, transport, and communication with courts or healthcare facilities. 4. Counseling & Rehabilitation Support ● Provide low-level counseling, guide inmates toward educational and vocational programming, and assist with access to community resources. 5. Case Assessment & Treatment Planning ● Assess inmate needs and collaborate with other professionals to develop individualized intervention or release strategies. 6. Reporting & Documentation ● Maintain accurate records of inmate behavior, case plans, disciplinary actions, and rehabilitation progress for institutional and legal review.
