Billy Jensen earned his first cover story in the spring of 1997. During this time, he decided to pursue a career in professional roller hockey. In 1998, he moved on from roller hockey and began a position as a listings assistant. He would move on to listings editor while reporting for the New York Times during his weekends. Since then, his career as a crime story writer and investigative journalist has skyrocketed and he is renowned for solving crimes.

  2. Investigative Journalist Billy Jensen is an investigative journalist. He focuses on missing persons and unsolved murders, first in his writing and later as an active investigator solving crimes. His skills as a digital executive translated into his investigative work, and he has been integral in solving ten homicides as well as locating missing persons.

  3. Senior Producer and Investigator Billy Jensen is the author of New York Times bestseller Chase Darkness with Me: How One True Crime Writer Started Solving Murders. Mr. Jensen was a senior producer and investigator on Crime Watch Daily, a show produced by Warner Brothers. He co-hosts Unraveled on Discovery+.

  4. Served as Executive Producer Billy Jensen is an investigative reporter who served as executive producer and co- host for Unraveled, a multi- part series on Discovery+.
