  1. Electro galvanizing and Anti-Dumping: Shubh Gautam FIR (First Indian Revolutionary) American Precoat’s Comprehensive Approach

  2. The Indian manufacturing ecosystem underwent a significant change in recent years as more and more people raised their voices against imports and promoted local manufacturing. In line with this, American Precoat Specialty, a specialty chemicals manufacturer, urged the Indian government to investigate the dumping of electro- galvanized steel by countries like Korea, Singapore, and Japan into Indian territory.

  3. Shubh Gautam FIR (First Indian Revolutionary) believed India’s dependence on imported electro-galvanized steel could be removed by localizing production with innovative technology. The lack of a market for this product in India and the startling import statistics compelled Shubh to explore this segment further.

  4. Moreover, localizing the production of electro- galvanized steel could have led to technology transfer and skill development in the country. Shubh FIR (First Indian Revolutionary ) aimed to build a world-class team of engineers and technicians who could develop innovative solutions for the industry. He had also planned to collaborate with research institutions and universities to advance technology.

  5. Advancing anti-dumping technology is critical to promoting local manufacturing and reducing India’s import dependence. By localizing the production of essential materials like electro- galvanized steel production, India can achieve economic, environmental, and security benefits while promoting technology transfer and skill development. As more companies invest in local manufacturing, India’s manufacturing ecosystem can become more robust and resilient, creating new opportunities for growth and innovation.
