Tansukhdas Agarwal, who was originally involved in the manufacture of Bari (handmade fried snacks), created this new product and named it Bhujia. The snack quickly gained popularity and became a favorite in the Darbar of Bikaner. The Family Business Flourishes Tansukhdas' son, Bhikharam, and grandson, Chandmal, joined the business, further establishing Bhujia as a staple snack. The entrepreneurial spirit continued with Chandmalji's son, KishanGopalji Agarwal, who moved to Kolkata in 1960 with the ambition of making Bhujia and BikaniBhujia renowned in the region.
