  2. Conveyor belts break in the middle due to high stress due to production runs. It can lead to downtime and it cannot be taken as an option all the time. New replacements can lead to downtime and it is going to cost machine hours. Moreover, additional downtime can be caused due to installation process. Conveyor belt repairs is the only way to cut reduce downtime and keep the production on.

  3. Conveyor belt repair The Saddle method It involves eliminating the damaged section by square it to equal distance in either direction far away from the damaged areas. As soon as the section is removed the new section is spliced using a mechanical fastener or vulcanizing for food grade conveyors or metal detector applications. In this method the splice is never in contact with the pulley. The saddles are large enough to match the width of the belt.

  4. Cold cure repair It is a method where the damaged area is peeled off and cleaned for any contamination. Then with the help of cold cure splice kit the joints are made. The kit is made up of filler material and cement. This method is simple and can be completed even by untrained workers. But it may take several hours before the splice is cured and run in production.

  5. All plastic belt Non piled food grade plastic belt is cut and re-spliced. The homogenous nature of the belt ensures there is less contamination that leads to belt failure.
