Established in 1948, Mount Carmel College (MCC) is a premier institution of womenu2019s education in India. Initially, the college was affiliated with Mysore University. However, it has been affiliated with Bangalore Central University since 1964. <br><br>The autonomy status of the college was granted in September 2005. The college was selected by the UGC under the scheme known as College with Potential for Excellence (CPE) in 2006. Mount Carmel College admission for students is open for UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs.
