  1. How can you get Admission to Christ College/University? 

  2. Christ College (Deemed-to-be University) is one of the pioneer colleges in India. The college was established in 1969 under the administration of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), a Catholic Congregation founded by an educationalist and social reformer, St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara in 1831. Christ college is the first institution in Karnataka to receive accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 1998. In 2004 University Grants Commission gave the university an autonomous title. In 2006 the college was identified as an Institution and in 2008 it was declared as "Deemed-To-Be-University" by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD)

  3. The college is known for its quality education as they are focused on the holistic development of its students. Their mission is to take up path-breaking initiatives in higher education with the introduction of innovation and a modern curriculum. They train their students to acquire academic excellence, professional competence, and interpersonal and social skills. The institution requires students to be adept at problem-solving, develop leadership and effective communication. The college evaluates a student's participation in various activities such as the Student Council, Centre for Social Action, Student Welfare Office, Peer Education, and intra-University programmes.

The institute takes an entrance test for UG and PG level programs. For law students, there is a separate entrance test. Students can apply on their website for the entrance test. For PhD students, admission is based on the entrance examination and followed by a review of academic scores and a personal interview
