March 22, 2016 To our valued customers, After 66 years, Babel’s Paint & Decorating is transitioning to new ownership. On Monday, March 21, 2016 Babel’s became part of the National Lumber Family of Companies. Jeanne (my wife) and I had been looking for the right company to take over the ownership for two years. The pace quickened last year as Jeanne’s health (cancer) started to deteriorate. Jeanne passed away on December 30th, 2015. I turned 70 last year and have decided to turn another page in the chapter of my life. I feel we have found a great company to continue the Babel’s legacy. Like Babel’s, National Lumber is a family business that understands the values of their employees and their customers. We have been meeting over the past couple of months and I can see great synergy between the two companies. What does this mean to you, our valued customer? The Babel’s name will remain at all five locations and the two businesses will be run separately. All of our great employees that you have come to know and built great relationships with will be staying on with Babel’s going forward. I, along with Babel’s complete management team, will also be working for National Lumber.
