  3. About Valcambi Mint • Valcambi is a precious metals refining company located in Balerna, Switzerland. As refiners of gold, silver, platinum, and palladium into cast and minted bars, rounds, coins, and other semi-finished foundry products, Valcambi is among the largest precious metals refineries in the world. Valcambi refines more gold than any other refinery, and it provides precious metal assay, transportation, and storage services. • Throughout its 60 year history Valcambi has focused solely on the business of precious metals refining. The success and the reputation of the company are built on their philosophy of remaining committed to their employees, to their clients, and to the precious metals refining industry.

  4. Valcambi’s Story The Valcambi Suisse mint has an impressive history of refining precious metals and producing high-quality bullion. In 1961, the company was known as Valori & Cambi. Seven years later, it was bought by Credit Suisse and merged with London and Comex Good Delivery. For more than three decades, the company worked under the London label. In 2001, European Gold Refineries bought it, after Credit Suisse pulled out of the bullion business. From 2004 to 2009, the company faced several strategic changes: the adoption of a new business model, new perspectives, and the adoption of partnerships with Newmont and several banks. During the following five years, Valcambi celebrated its 50th anniversary and faced a new reorganization, logo, and product innovation. As of 2015, Valcambi is now owned by Global Gold Refineries Ltd., of Singapore.

  5. Valcambi’s Story • Valcambi is also one of the world's largest manufacturers of minted ingots. Examples of their innovation in this area include the world's first minted 1oz ingot and the first minted 1000g bar. The hallmark is not only a guarantee of the quality of Swiss workmanship, it also guarantees the fineness of the world's most sought-after bars, desired by precious metals connoisseurs and investors alike. Valcambi's production process allows them to quickly adapt their production flows to produce several different products simultaneously, with the highest finishing standards in very short delivery times. • Anytime you see Valcambi’s assay mark on a bar or ingot, you know it has been refined, assayed, and minted by Valcambi.

  6. Gold & Silver Bars • Investors in precious metals have long regarded platinum bullion bars as a wise option. Those who invest in bullion bars revealed two benefits. They often have a smaller premium compared to the same troy Oz of Platinum Coins because of lower production expenses. Naturally, this leads to lower initial investment costs. The relative simplicity with which the bar can be "stacked" for storage is perhaps just as significant to the precious metals investment stacker. Stacks typically require less storage space than bullion coins of the same weight.

  7. Gold & Silver Bars • If you are looking to buy gold or silver, refineries in Switzerland are a great place to start. The famously neutral nation known for its banking systems is also home to some of the world's leading gold bullion brands. Among those brands is Valcambi Suisse. Originally founded as Valori & Cambi, a period of ownership by Credit Suisse (another major Swiss refiner) gave the company its modern name of Valcambi Suisse. Today, investors around the world are aware of Valcambi's gold and silver for sale. Learn a little more about their popular products and innovative designs below!

  8. Why Valcambi? • Valcambi, although little known outside refining circles, has become a leading global player in the precious metals world. As a boutique refiner, Valcambi relies on best practices in technology and manufacturing to meet its needs and goals while offering the highest levels of service in the refining of precious metals.

  9. Benefit Of Buying A Silver Bar • The main benefit of Buying A Silver Bar is the lower cost per gram compared to smaller silver coins. Silver bars can be purchased in large sizes such as 5 kg and still be affordable due to the low price of silver. Silver bars have lower production costs, resulting in cheaper prices per gram. By buying a bar, you can therefore acquire a higher volume of silver for the money you invest. Silver bars are abundantly available in the market and the common denominations are 1kg and 5kg.  • The silver market is expected to rise eventually due to growing industrial demand. Therefore, investing in bars gives you the opportunity to lock in great value and record profits in the future. • Silver bars come with a variety of different finishes. Bold customers can easily search for Silver bars by weight or theme.
