The new hybrid uses a straight coil compression spring for the first time. Anti Reverse Latch Features Cnc Machining of Hardened Carbon Steel Curved front face to maintain a constant lock on the gear in reverse all the time. Custom compression spring connected to the spring's back. Wider face for greater contact with the bevel gear lock surface, resulting in increased longevity and reliability. The pin has a flat head that can be easily installed with a flat head screwdriver. When Should The Anti-reversal Latch Be Replaced? The latch may wear down to the point where it no longer effectively catches the bevel gear, or the shaft may snap. The spring that secures this lock may lose tension or break.
