  3. A vendor purchased 20 dozen ceramic cups at $22 per dozen. While transporting, one and a half dozen got broken. The remaining cups were place in boxes of 6 and sold at $15 per box. Calculate the profit or loss made on the sale of all the remaining cups.

  5. Sally bought three blocks of cheese. Block A has a mass of 0.94 kilograms. Block B has a mass of 160 grams less than Block A. Block C has a mass of 700 grams more than Block B. What is the total mass of the three blocks of cheese to the nearest kilogram?

  7. Brad, Christopher, and Dan have 210 toy cars. Brad has twice as many cars as Christopher. Christopher has 3 times as many cars as Dan. How many more cars does Brad have than Christopher?

  8. Mary sold mangoes at $6 each. Customers who bought 2 mangoes from her, were given 1 mango free. No customer bought more than 2 mangoes. At the end of the sale, Mary earned a total of $504 and 30 mangoes were given free. How many customers bought only one mango?

  9. June purchased some donuts and cupcakes. Each donut cost $5.00 and each cupcake cost$3.00. She purchased 8 less donuts than cupcakes and spent a total of $144.00. How many cupcakes did she buy?

  15. A store buys some DVDs at $3.00 each. It sold each DVD for $7.00 each. Customers who bought 2 DVDs were given another DVD free. After selling all the DVDs the store collected $1008. If it had given 60 free DVDs, calculate how many customers bought one DVD.

  17. Jonas shared 255 mangoes among his three friends, Kim, Leon and Moan. Leon received 3 more than the other two friends. How many mangoes did Leon get?

  18. Jerry shared $60 among King, Roger and Garvin. King got $12 and an equal amount was given to Garvin and Roger. What percentage of the money did Garvin get?

  19. Aida bought 35 metres of ribbon to use on flower arrangements. She made the same number of small and large arrangements. The large ones used 60 cm of ribbons each and 50cm of ribbons was used on the small ones. At the end of the day she had 90 cm of ribbon remaining. How many arrangements did Aida make for the day?
