An angle is the figure formed by 2 rays called the sides of the angle sharing a common endpoint called the vertex of the angle. Angles are six types :- acute angle less than 90 degree, right angle equal to 90 degree, obtuse angle greater than 19 degree and less than 180 degree, straight angle equal to 180u00b0, complete angle equal to 360u00b0, reflex angle greater than 180 degree and less than 360 degree.

Angles: An Introduction. An angle is formed when two rays are joined together at a common point. The common point here is called node or vertex and the two rays are called arms of the angle. The angle is represented by the symbol '∠'.
Types of Angles:- 1. Acute Angle: An angle that measures less than 90°. 2. Right Angle: An angle that measures exactly 90°.
3. Obtuse Angle: An angle that measures greater than 90° but less than 180°. 4. Straight Angle: An angle that measures exactly 180°.
5. Reflex Angle: An angle that measures greater than 180° but less than 360°. 6. Complete Angle : An angle that measures exactly 360°.
