  2. Midsommer • Was released July 3th 2019 united states • It was written and directed by Ari Aster • Production companys = Square Peg , B-Reel Films • Cast= Florence Pugh as Dani, Will Poulter as Mark,JackRynor as Christian

Narrative • We get a intro of seeing firefighters in a red light • After this we get scenes were the firefighters are walking in the house • As well we get to see a dead body that the firefighters zipped up this makes the audience think they might died because of a fire or what happened ? • As we get a cut to a other location of the man walking in the snow the audience probably think what is his purpose and why did he got cut to ? • Overall the whole opening sequence is describing a situation where no one talks and something bad happened which lead to that the audience wants to know why there was a fire and what happened ?

Target audience • There no gender preferences • As we see quit younger and older people it could be maybe a movie for everyone so between 18-70 • Because its not a typical horror movie it’s a psychological horror movie it could be targeting maybe people who are smarter because its hard to understand the movie this can be seen already in the opening sequence as it hard to understand

Genre • We can see dead people which can be already seen as crime or horror something even worse happened • As it filmed at night which horror movies are usually filmed because it makes everything look more scary • As well we can hear a women crying screaming which makes it really scary and could be also sign of horror

Key moments • Camera movement • We have a zoom in of the women sitting on the floor which goes from a long shot to a close up to the computer over her as well she wears breath mask • This creates a mystery and makes the audience think what happened • Sound • We gear a women crying screaming diegtic sound • This shows her emotion and gives the audience of feeling with her which you could might consider the fire has something to do with it

  7. Key Moments • Editing • Everything at the beginning is in slow motion which creates tension • This makes the audience even more interest in what is happening as it build tension towards the end

  8. Conclusion • I think its not really a good opening sequence because its quit slow which makes it quit boring to watch . • This could result that people don’t want to watch the rest because it goes to slow and not really scary happens which keeps them interested
