    9. Complete RestExodus 33:14

    11. Why should a holy God make promises to unholy people like us?

    12. God understood our predicament—and he loved us despite our sins.

    13. God took us “to heart.” He took us to his heart.

    14. Jesus endured our penalty, paid our debt, so that we can go free, so we can live as God’s redeemed people.

    15. If God’s rich grace were to stop at the promise of forgiveness, how blessed this one promise would make us!

    16. God’s grace is richer still!

    18. Our Lord promises he will never leave us, never abandon us.

    19. We no longer need to search for life’s meaning in the trinkets and toys of this world.

    20. We no longer need to worry about the future, about how we will live, how we will provide for ourselves.

    21. We no longer need to let greed consume us. We can love and share with generous hearts, hearts like Jesus’ own heart.

    22. We live by faith inGod’s unfailing presence and his unshakable promises!
