Zehr Family friend: Usha Zehr May, 2006, final diagnosis of pleomorphic rhabdomyosarcoma cancer Extremely rare adult cancer that starts in the skeletal muscle and spreads, eventually hitting the lungs. 18 months left to live until he passed away November 17, 2007 Brent left a wife, two sons 18 & 16 years old, and many friends and family… He was the Director of Research at the Maharashtra Hybrid Seed Company later published the blog entries into a book to “leave a lasting legacy and to assist and offer encouragement to those who face their own difficult circumstances” (1)

Importance to Medical History Knowledge of Brent’s treatment; chemotherapy, rehabilitation…etc. Education for this rare disease: helpful for research, treatment, either drug or psychological therapy… for those cases in the future with this particular cancer Demonstrates a new way to narrate an illness by using the Internet as a source of communication.
