  1. Nazar Ki Dua: Protection from the Evil Eye in Islam The concept of nazar, or the evil eye, is a widely recognized belief in Islam and many other cultures. It refers to the harm caused by a gaze of envy or excessive admiration, whether intentional or unintentional. This harm can affect a person’s health, wealth, relationships, or overall well-being. To counteract and protect against the effects of nazar, Islam provides spiritual remedies, including the recitation of Nazar ki Dua. Understanding Nazar (The Evil Eye) The evil eye is a phenomenon acknowledged in Islamic teachings. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) emphasized its reality, stating: "The evil eye is real, and if anything were to overtake the Divine decree, it would be the evil eye." (Sahih Muslim) Nazar often stems from jealousy or admiration, carrying negative energy that can harm the individual or object being observed. It is essential to protect oneself and loved ones from its effects by turning to the guidance provided in Islam. Signs of Nazar The effects of nazar can manifest in various ways, including: • • • • Physical Symptoms: Sudden illness, fatigue, or unexplained pain. Emotional Distress: Anxiety, irritability, or a sense of unease. Life Disruptions: Financial setbacks, failed projects, or strained relationships. Impact on Children: Unusual crying, loss of appetite, or disturbed sleep in babies and young children. If these symptoms occur without any apparent reason, it may indicate the presence of the evil eye. Nazar Ki Dua: Spiritual Remedies for Protection Islam provides specific duas (prayers) to protect against the evil eye and its harmful effects. These duas are a source of spiritual strength and serve as a shield against negativity.

Translation: "Say, ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the Sovereign of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer—who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind—from among the jinn and mankind.’" This Surah, when recited regularly, provides comprehensive protection from the evil eye and other negative influences. 3.
