Arnold McClellan

Bay Area consultant Arnold McClellan has leveraged his expertise to serve the needs of San Francisco charities over the years. A former Partner in Mergers and Acquisitions for Deloitte, LLP, he has extensive experience handling issues related to tax law and in overseeing the revenues of large firms. Since 2007, McClellan has worked with the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Francisco in various capacities, helping the organization to achieve the financial security necessary to grow in a difficult economy. Arnold McClellan has served as the Chair of the Finance Committee and the Treasurer for the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Francisco and currently sits on the Board of Directors. Among other accomplishments, he helped implement a New Market Tax Credit arrangement for the charity through a program that gave tax credits to those who invest in low-income communities. The Boys and Girls Clubs raised significant sums through the program, which enabled the organization to renovate the Mission Clubhouse. In 2010, the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Francisco named McClellan its Board Member of the Year for his work on the New Market Tax Credit transaction. Arnold McClellan supports several other charities in addition to the Boys and Girls Clubs. He volunteers at the Edgewood Center for Children and Families. The center was founded during the California Gold Rush to take care of orphans. Today, it helps families in the San Francisco area recover from abuse, neglect, and other crises. McClellan also donates annually to the United Way and has earned membership in the Tocqueville Society, which recognizes supporters who have made significant contributions to a local chapter. Arnold McClellan is married and has two children. He enjoys golf, tennis, and basketball in his free time. In addition, he is a classic car enthusiast and the owner of a 1968 Corvette.
