  1. The history of photography The history of photography spans nearly two centuries of technological development and artistic innovation. Here’s a brief overview of key milestones: Early Experiments (18th century Camera Obscura: The concept of projecting an image through a small hole onto a surface was known since ancient times, but it was in the 17th and 18th centuries that it evolved into the camera obscura, a device used by artists to trace scenes. Invention of Photography (19th century 1820s-1830s: Several inventors and scientists experimented with light-sensitive materials. Joseph Nicéphore Niépce is credited with creating the first permanent photograph in 1826 or 1827, using a bitumen-coated plate exposed to light. Mid-19th Century Developments Calotype Process: William Henry Fox Talbot introduced this negative-positive process in 1841, which allowed multiple prints to be made from a single negative. Mid to Late 20th Century Digital Photography: The first digital photograph was taken in 1957; however, digital cameras became commercially available in the 1990s, leading to the eventual decline of film photography. 21st Century Smartphone Photography: The integration of high-quality cameras into smartphones has democratized photography further, making it accessible to billions worldwide. 8962610931 www.theweddingplatfrom.com
