  1. In the second part of the conference, Mrs Kathrin Neumeyer, Tax Consultant and partner in MPW, will talk about “IFRS 16 - The new basis for plant accounting”. What actually are the options for future developments in energy services in the industry? This will be the question addressed by speaker Olf Clausen, professional engineer and Director of the m+p Group. Dr. Frédéric Brodach, Director, Investor Confidence Project (ICP), will explain the financing of energy efficiency projects in industry to the audience. Finally, MPW will highlight solutions in the context of “Off-balance solutions through new risk allocation in energy services.” The new format for leasing accounting under IFRS 16 will lead to a change in the formula for presenting energy service contracts in the balance sheets of the parties involved. The conference is aimed at experts and decision-makers in the sector(s), and is divided into two parts which can be booked separately (morning and afternoon sessions).
