  1. Adjust the Device Manager If your printer is in error state

  2. To do so, initially, you've got to press the Windows and R keys altogether. it'll open the Run panel on the display. • After that, navigate to the Device Manager and click on thereon.

  3. Here, you'll find all the drivers that are installed on your device. • Choose the View menu icon and move to click on the menu. From there, choose “Show hidden devices”.

  4. Then, extend the ports section and choose the Printer Port by right-clicking thereon. • Select the Properties tab and click on on the Properties tab.

  5. After that, move to settle on the Port Settings icon and proceed with the subsequent step. • Tap on, “Use any interrupt assigned to the port” icon and choose the “Enable Legacy Plug and Play detection” tab one after another.

  6. Once you've got completed the above steps, click on OK and save the changes you've got done. • Finally, restart your device and check if the matter has gone or not.
