WELCOME TO NEW LIFE • At New Life Church, Clean Water is a global cause - and we envision a day when every person on the planet has access to safe drinking water! That’s why we’re committed to sending financial support and manpower to support this cause. Seattlenewlife.org
WE LIVE OUT OUR VISION THROUGH • A disciple cannot grow alone. Jesus met with twelve disciples and did not task them to do it alone. We believe disciples meet together to do the “one another’s of Scripture – to exhort, encourage, rebuke, love and bear one another’s burdens. In addition, community is not simply about being good friends, but it’s about being bound together by Christ and his Word. • The Bible’s singular goal is to proclaim Christ. From Genesis to Revelation, all of Scripture points to Christ. We cannot be a Christ-Centered community without being a people of the Word. We believe a growing disciple is one who reads the Word regularly, Worships Christ weekly through the gathering and listening to God’s Word preached and praying persistently to Christ. • A disciple works for the Kingdom of God. This involves creating a world by sharing the good news of Christ and welcoming new believers, bringing about justice, good and peace. New Life Fellowship seeks to create a Kingdom within a Kingdom. A city within a city. This is a key element often missed in our churches.
NEXT STEPS + HONDURAS WELL PROJECT • Where we live, clean water is a given. If you’re thirsty, turn on the tap and clean water comes right out. • The truth is – we’re in the minority. Right now, 780 million people on the planet still don’t have access to clean, safe, drinking water. To put the clean water crisis in perspective: diseases from dirty water kill more people every year than wars and terrorism combined.
