For Delhi, the land pooling agency is the Delhi Development power. The policy was notified along with the Master Plan. The policy aims to boost urban development in peri-urban areas with optimum utilisation of resources and build structures for both public and private employ. The policy was given by the urban development ministry go after by an approval to draft regulations. But the approval was pending at the Delhi Government as it demanded 10 % of total land pooled to be used for constructing schools, colleges and hospitals. Zones under the policy Delhi, under the Master Plan 2021(MPD 2021), is separated into 15 zones — Zone A to H and Zone J to P under MPD 2021. The land pooling policy aims to develop marginal areas that lie in Zone P1, P2, K1, K2, L and J. The recent approval of convening 95 villages as development zones have been divided into five zones — K-1 (20 villages), L (30 villages), N (21 villages), P II (23 villages), and J (1 village). The main one of all is the DDA L-Zone, spreading over an area of 22,000 hectares.
