  2. The Pinnacles • These weird stones indicate life many, many, years ago. These sizes range from finger size to human men size.

  3. Manta Rays and Yellow Striped Jacks While the Manta Ray hunts for food the Yellow Striped Jacks eat the debris stirred up by the ray with it’s headfins.

  4. Atolls • Atolls are islands that used to be volcanoes. Most atolls have quite a lot of marine life.

  5. Sydney Opera House • The Sydney Opera House is one of the many reasons why people visit Australia. It’s a great tour site.

  6. The Great Barrier Reef • The Great Barrier Reef is the largest coral reef in the world! It is over 1,000 miles long!!!!

  7. Great White Shark • More Great White sharks are seen off the southern Australian coast than in any other waters in the world.

  8. Kangaroos The Kangaroo is one of Australia’s most recognized icons. It is a part of the family called Marsupials. They also carry their young, which are called joeys in their pouches located around their bellies.

  9. Like other countries Australia is religious, as you can see in the picture above.

  10. The Platypus • The Platypus is one of the many animals native to Australia. It lives on the island of Tasmania. It is located south of Australia.
